Yes, there is a $50.00 per year for adults and $15.00 per year for a Junior member (18 years old or younger) with an adult.
Yes, because the KAMPS is a charter club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and has insurance through them, each of our members needs to be a member of AMA. By doing so, each individual member also is covered with liability insurance (see details on AMA web site).
Anytime as long as you obey the fields rules and have one other individual with you for safety.
No, we fly based on the weather and when we can. However, we have a system of email and text to get the message out when anyone is headed to the field. Also, pilots will call one another on a moment’s notice to fly.
Yes, every month on the second Sunday at 5:00 PM. It is held at the field in good flying weather or at one of the restaurants in Kalkaska.
